Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breasts or chicken tenderloins
  • 8 oz French’s Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper and add in the broth.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove the juices from the slow cooker. Shred or chop the chicken.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and honey.
  • Stir the sauce into the shredded chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Serve over rice, egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or cauliflower rice.
