Barbecue Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lbs pork loin half roast

  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

  • 1 1/4 cups Dr Pepper soda (or root beer)

  • 7-8 Hamburger buns

Directions

  • To a large slow cooker add in the roast, fat side up then pour the barbecue sauce and Dr Pepper on top. Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or HIGH for 5-6 hours or until the meat is tender.
  • Once cooked shred the meat in the slow cooker keep the juices in the slow cooker. You can sherd the meat with an electric hand mixer, meat masher or two forks. Once shredded serve in hamburger buns and if you like yours saucy you can add extra barbecue sauce in your sandwich enjoy!
