Slow Cooker Chicken with Potatoes and Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, cut into strip or larger pieces

  • 3 lbs golden potatoes, cut into wedges

  • 1 lb baby carrots

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

  • 1/2 tbsp pepper

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder

  • Optional: 1/2 cup water or broth for extra juicy

Directions

  • Add the chicken into a slow cooker and season with half of the seasonings. Stir to coat the chicken in the seasoning. Add in the potatoes, carrots, and remaining seasonings stir.
  • Optional: Add in 1/2 cup water or broth.
  • Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Enjoy!

    I want to make sure I do this correctly, so I wanted to ask – do you put the chicken in raw, or do you cook it first before putting in the crockpot?

    Easy and tasty. I didn’t use the Italian seasoning but I did everything else as directed. Hubby LOVED it!
