Philly Cheesesteaks – Sheet Pan

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak

  • 2.5 tbs worchestire sauce

  • 2 tbs olive oil

  • 1 white onion, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 8oz white mushrooms, sliced

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 4 hoagie rolls

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Place the flank steak on a sheet pan and season with a dash of salt and pepper on each side. Drizzle 1/2 tbs olive oil and 1/2 worcestershire sauce on each side rub the steak well.
  • In to a medium bowl add the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, dash of salt and pepper, 1 tbs worcestershire sauce and 1 tbs olive oil stir everything well. Place these veggies all around the steak on the sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes then broil for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  • Once the steak is out of the oven let it rest for 5 minutes. Now cut the steak on a cutting board against the grain thinly.
  • Slice the hoagie rolls open then fill them with the sliced steak and veggies, top with a slice of provolone cheese. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
