Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (90%/10%)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced very thinly

  • Hawaiian dinner rolls

  • Optional toppings: sliced cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and any sauces

Directions

  • To a medium sized bowl add in the ground beef and seasonings. Mix to incorporate the beef with the seasonings. Form into 8-10 small slider patties.
  • To a large pan on the stove over medium high heat add in the oil and butter once the butter has melted add a small amount of the thin onions down then place the slider burgers on the top (don’t over crowd the pan. I did this in two batches) with the back of a spatula press the burgers down so they become thinner. Cook on each side for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Serve in Hawaiian rolls and top with your favorite toppings
