Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage

  • 1 yellow onion, diced

  • 10 eggs

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 box red lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix + the ingredients the back or the box calls for (butter, cheese, and water)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • To a pan on the stove over medium heat add in the sausage and onion break the sausage up and cook it through once cooked remove any excess grease from the pan.
  • To a medium sized bowl add in the eggs and seasonings whisk well.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with a nonstick spray add in the cooked sausage and eggs stir well.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
  • To a medium sized bowl add in the packet of cheddar Bay biscuit mix, water, and cheese stir well.
    To a small bowl, add in the melted butter that the back of the box calls for and the seasoning packet stir well.
  • Once out of the oven, scoop the biscuit mix over the top of the casserole bake for 12-15 minutes or until the egg has set and the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Once out of the oven brush the butter over the top
