Ingredients

  • 2 cans of biscuits

  • 14oz pizza sauce

  • 2tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 diced red bell pepper

  • 1/2 diced green bell pepper

  • Pepperoni

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray
  • Cut each biscuit into 5 smaller pieces
  • Place the smaller biscuit pieces into the 9×13 baking dish
  • Sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top of the biscuits
  • Pour the pizza sauce on the biscuits and top with your favorite toppings, I used mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, pepperoni, and bell peppers
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the biscuits are completely cooked. (If the top of the pizza starts to get to brown lightly cover it with foil and continue to bake) Enjoy

Great weeknight meal idea for the kiddos! It was a little too doughy (after one can I hesitated opening another – should’ve listened to my mommy instincts 😉 ) and the bake time was prob to cook all that dough all the way through but even in taking it out early the bottom still burned. One can of dough and less bake time and we have a hit. Thank you for the idea!
