Slow Cooker Biscuits and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage

  • 9 eggs

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can biscuits

  • 1 dry packet country gravy mix

Directions

  • To a large pan on the stove over medium heat add the sausage, break the sausage up and cook it through. Remove any excess grease from the pan.
  • To a large bowl add in the eggs whisk the eggs to break the yolks.
    Stir in the cheese and cooked sausage
  • Cut the biscuits into smaller pieces.
  • Line a slow cooker with a slow cooker liner or spray it with non stick spray.
  • Place the biscuit pieces to the bottom of the slow cooker pour the egg mixture over the top
    Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or until the egg has set.
  • Once cooked prepare the packet of gravy mix according to the packet instructions.
    Serve the breakfast casserole then pour the gravy over the top
