This is a great starting point / inspiration recipe and came together very quickly – exactly what’s needed on those “I don’t want to cook but we need to eat” nights. I chose to add a couple more ingredients to the teriyaki sauce – a half-tsp of garlic and a tsp of crystalized ginger. While letting the chicken rest a few minutes in the sauce, I sliced and cooked an onion in the skillet , removed and set it aside. Then cooked the chicken in the same skillet, adding the sauce and adding back in the onion.
