Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast

  • 16 oz bottle salsa verde

  • Optional Toppings:
  • Flour tortillas

  • Shredded cheese

  • Diced tomatoes

  • Cooked rice

Directions

  • Place the chicken in a slow cooker and pour the salsa verde over the top. Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours OR LOW for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Once the chicken is cooked through remove the chicken to a plate and shred or chop then place the chicken back in the slow cooker and stir. Serve in flour tortilla with your favorite toppings or over rice
