Whole Wheat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour, OR all purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tbs sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • To a large mixing bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar whisk to combine the ingredients.
  • Beat in the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat. When the pan/griddle is hot melt some butter in the pan. Once the butter is melted pour 1/2 cup of the batter in let pancakes cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat. Enjoy with maple syrup!
